With fall officially one day away, thanksgiving has been a big thing on my mind, and the fact that I do not "spill over" with thanks. It is so easy to be negative. It is easy to focus on the little frustrations, point out the flaws, fall-shorts, and annoyances. I am learning so much lately to focus on God and myself and let people be who they are, where they are. I am learning to live out the love I've received.
"I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know about God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God's great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and no where else. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you've been taught. Quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving." Col. 2:2-4,6,7
